A scarce and beautifully illustrated pocket book containing the following stories. Little Rhymes For Little Folks by A Lady published by Grant and Griffith; Grandma's Book Of Rhymes For The Nursery dated 1847 fourth edition published by Grant and Griffith; Tom Trip's, Museum or A Peep At The Quadruped Race, part one and part two published by John Harris 1833; The Peacock "At Home" by A Lady The Butterfly Ball by Mr Roscoe and The Fancy Fair published by Grant and Griffith. All bound into one volume. Bound in half brown leather with marble paper covered boards which show some rubbing and wear especially to the extremities. Gilt titles to the spine which is worn along the outer hinges and to the top and base, light cracking along the top hinges. The front and rear end-papers are a little grubby and the pages age-toned with the occasional foxing. There is a neat inscription to one of the blank pages. Contents however are generally clean and beautifully illustrated throughout. Overall a good scarce copy.
