A beautifully bound book in it's original green cloth in good condition. Decorative embossed detail and gilt pictorial to the front and rear boards with a little sunning to the extremities. Gilt titles and decoration to the spine however the spine is sunned with fraying to the top. All edge gilt. Binding is still fairly tight despite very light cracking to the internal hinges. There is the occasional foxing and thumb mark throughout although the contents are generally very clean. Beautifully illustrated with eight coloured engravings. pp. 252. Overall a good copy.
