Undated, 1680. Fairy Footsteps; Or, Lessons from Legends. An extremely scarce book which proved difficult to trace. The latest record we can find of it was of one copy sold in 1908. Green half morocco binding with marbled boards. Some slight rubbing at the corners and to the edges of the spine. Minor loss to top and tail of spine. Gilt title to title band on spine; five raised bands and decorative gilt to spine. Speckled front and bottom edge. Binding tight. Some light foxing to endpapers. It appears as though the half-title page has been removed. Frontispiece protected by original tissue guard. With one hundred illustrations throughout designed by Alfred Crowquill. Contents generally clean with some minor foxing and browning here and there. A stunning rare book. 188pp
