1623 Edition of a most important book in the history of the English reformation. Re-bound in half red leather with black leather boards in very good condition with just a little discolouration to the spine.  New end-papers, prelim and half title page with the wood engraved title page laid onto new. There are lengthy pencil inscriptions to the front end-papers and prelim. Pages are a little browned consistent with the books age with the occasional pencil annotation to the margins of the text, however the pages are generally in a very good clean condition. A rare and well preserved copy.
