Blind tooling to cover and spine with a gilt title to spine. Neat inscription to top of the title page. Text illustrations throughout. Shelf wear and rubbing to cover and spine, fading to edges. Spine is discoloured. Cracking to lower hinge. Lifting and small loss to spine edges not affecting the text. A few small fade marks to cover, with a more pronounced circular mark to the rear cover. Cracking to gutter. Pages lightly toned to edges with occasional faint spotting. Pages are clean and bright despite this, and the binding is relatively tight. Overall very good condition. 339 pp. Superb example of this scarce work.
