Mr Struggle (Mein Kampf)
Ref. 105364 Edition. Early Reprint
Published By: The Paternoster Library 1937 (London)
First published in English in 1933, this 1937 copy is an early reprint. Hardback clothbound with printed embossed title to cover and spine. Scarce original photographic unclipped dust jacket. Ink inscription to ffep. Portrait frontispiece. Jacket is chipped to all edges with small loss to lower spine edge. Spine of jacket is faded and hinge is rubbed, cover of jacket slightly darkened. Cloth cover has a little fading to extremities and bumping to corners. Spine cocked. Very faint foxing to endpapers. Pages throughout are cleaned with light toning to very edges. Spotting to text block edge. Overall good condition. 285 pp. A controversial book, summed up nicely in the foreword which reads: 'It would not be exaggerating to say that no more important auto-biography that this has been published since the War, and certainly to autobiography has been issued for decades over which controversy has raged so bitterly. Whatever one's political views may be, it is a book everyone should read, for it reveals the forces and circumstances which went to make a remarkable character, whose intense belief won over a mighty nation, and changed the course of history.'
