First edition hardback black clothbound with gilt tooled title to spine. Original pale blue printed pictorial dust jacket, unclipped. Signed by both authors to the ffep in black ink. Vignette to title page. Illustrations throughout. Jacket is a little rubbed, with some faint fading/discolouration to extremities and a couple of small spot marks. Otherwise a good clean copy, free from inscriptions. Overall very good condition. 118 pp. This collaboration between celebrated architectural historian Maurice Craig and his son Michael Craig, a master draughtsman, will stand for most readers as both an introduction to this fascinating subject and the last word upon it.
