Otherwise contents are mostly clean, until the last few pages where some more foxing occurs. xii + 448pp. Volume Two: Previous owner's neat inscription to rear of front free endpaper. Similarly quite foxed preliminaries, particularly to original tissue guard protecting the frontispiece. Otherwise contents are quite clean, again until the final few pages which have a few patches of foxing. iv + 448pp. Overall very good condition; a beautiful set.
