Two volumes from a privately printed run limited to 1000 copies. Bound in watered silk with gilt emblems to front boards and gilt titles to spine. "Faithfully translated by J.M. Rigg". Light sunning to spines. Bindings quite tight. Roughly cut page edges. Light foxing to preliminary pages in both volumes. Volume One: Frontispiece's original tissue guard is detached from the book block and has a closed tear of approximately 3 inches, but is still stored within the book. Contents clean. xxi + 332pp. Volume Two: Contents clean. xiii + 404pp. Overall a very good set in attractive bindings.
