Undated, new edition [third edition] 1791. Two volumes uniformly bound in polished calf, with red title band and gilt bands to spine. Gilt border to fore edges of boards. Both volumes contain bookplate of Francis Delap Halliday to fep, and ink inscriptions to ffep dated 1808. Bindings are rubbed with small scuffs. Corners bumped and gilt rubbed. Endpapers toned, small nick to ffep of vol i. Both rear endpapers have an ink cross drawn on. Very faint marginal spotting to occasional pages and to the text block edge. Ink inscription to top of introduction in vol i. Pages themselves are bright and clean. Bindings are tight. Overall very good condition. vol i 219 pp vol ii 92 pp. Smart set, preserved beautifully for its age.
