Undated, first edition 1892. Hardback bound in original blue cloth with embossed and gilt pictorial cover and spine. Bevelled edges. All edges gilt. School prize bookplate to fep. Twelve illustrations in black and white on glossy paper, including frontispiece. Hinge, covers and spine edges a little rubbed and bumped. Creases to cloth of spine edges although no splits. Faint spotting to pages throughout. Binding starting but no visible splits. Gilt edges a little dulled. Otherwise a good copy, binding is still nice and bright. Overall good condition. vi + 383 + xxxii pp.
