Original burgundy cloth boards with beautiful gilt decoration to the front and spine. The binding is generally in good condition although there is a little surface wear and discolouration. Spine is lightly sunned with light shelf wear to the top and base. Top edge gilt. There is heavy foxing to the end-papers, fore edge and some occasionally throughout. Beautifully illustrated by Hugh Thomson.  pp. xiii + 108.
