With a preface by Anne Thackeray Ritchie. Beautifully illustrated by Hugh Thomson. Original green cloth with beautiful gilt pictorial to the front and gilt titles and vignette to the spine. In overall good condition despite a little surface wear to the rear. Spine has a closed tear towards the base with light sunning and a slight lean. All edges gilt. Binding a little weak. Previous owners' inscription to the verso of the half title page. Pages otherwise are clean. pp. xxx + 297. Overall a good copy.
