First Edition. Scarce Copy. Publishers' original green cloth with embossed titles to the front and bright gilt titles to the spine. In overall good condition although there is a little discolouration in places. The spine is worn along the top edge with white letters and numerical marks down the centre of the spine. This is an ex-library copy so bears the usual marks and stamps. Pages otherwise are clean with just a little foxing to the prelims and very occasionally throughout. Illustrated with full page black and white photographic plates. pp. viii + 240 + 8. Overall a good copy of this scarce title.
