Fifth edition hardback bound in original blue cloth richly decorated in pictorial gilt to cover and spine. All edges gilt. Ink inscription to ffep. Illustrated frontispiece and vignette to title page. A further seven plates throughout. Spine somewhat sunned and gilt faded but legible. Some wear to spine edges and rubbing over hinge. Corners bumped. Cracking to gutter, binding sound. Light spotting and foxing scattered throughout, mostly to edges, occasional thumbing. Overall good condition. 390 + i pp. A nice early copy.
