Hard Back First Edition. With illustrations from designs by eminent artists. Bound in full burgundy cloth with decorative embossing to the boards and gilt titles to the spine. The boards although sound are rubbed and worn with the titles to the spine faded. All edges of the text block gilt. Slight lean to the spine. Yellow end-papers. Small closed tear to the margins of the text to the first few pages. Pages are generally clean with the occasional spot of foxing and thumb mark. pp. xii + 388. Overall a fair copy of a scarce title.
