This 73-page book contains a bibliography of the works of Folkestone-borrn Alfred Edgar Coppard, best known for his poetry and fantasy-based, supernatural short stories despite his lack of early formal education. Features foreword and notes throughout written by Coppard himself.
Signed and numbered by the author, this copy is no. 643 out of an edition of 650 copies - 600 for sale, and 50 for presentation. Hardback, 8vo first-edition copy bound in orange with beige cloth spine. External condition is fair-poor but structurally sound - endpapers are affected by foxing and page edges are uneven with occasional marks within close to the spine, though some appear to be deckled and paper is heavyweight with clean printing throughout. Internal text is unaffected and remains bright and clean. Overall a fair copy. Front endpaper contains inscription from previous owner.
