Twenty Third Year of Publication. A Fascinating look into the early days of English Football. Similar to the almanack for Cricket (Wisden ) this annual is full of statistics for Football. Original linen covers over card with crude restoration to the spine. Crayon marks to the front cover and a  little chipping along the fore edge of the front. Ink stamp to the front cover and to the first page denoting that this once belonged to Charles F. Pardon who was the editor of the Wisden Almanack between 1887 and 1890. The verso to the front and rear cover a little creased with pieces missing to the extremities. Adverts to the prelims as well as the rear. Pages lightly toned but clean throughout. pp. 170 + 4. Overall a good copy. Would be suitable as a gift for any football fanatic.
