In which the affairs of Ireland are more particularly handled, than in any other History. With an Appendix, Containing Copies of Some Original Papers not hitherto published. Illustrated With Plates Of Sieges and Battles in Ireland, and Medals struck upon the most Memorable Occurrences of his Life. Bound in full speckled calf in good condition despite wear and a little loss of leather. The hinges are unfortunately cracked down each side however the boards are still present and attached. Six raised bands and decorative gilt to the spine with the gilt still fairly bright, slight cracking down the centre and the title band partly missing. The Earl Of Chichester book plate to the front paste down. Previous owners' neat signature to the front free endpaper dated 1953. Pages are a little toned consistent with the books age and there is the occasional foxing throughout otherwise beautifully clean. With remarkable illustrations throughout. pp. xii + 502 + xcii. Overall a good copy. This book is heavy and will incur extra shipping.
