First Edition. Original green cloth boards in a good clean condition and with minimal wear, just minor fading along the top edge. Spine has slightly faded although the gilt titles are still clearly visible. Minor shelf wear and a little fraying to the top and base. Light foxing along the top and fore edge of the text block, nothing serious. Endpapers are a little toned, as expected. Pages are in a lovely clean condition, minor toning to the extremities. Illustrated with frontispiece portrait of the author and several monochrome photographic plates throughout. pp. 333. Overall a good copy. Bernard Darwin's first autobiography.
