First Edition Hard Back. Beautifully bound in red cloth with bevelled edges and pictorial to the front and spine. In overall good condition although the rear board has a little discolouration. Spine has sunned with a little stain to towards the base. Despite this the pictorial and titles are still visible. Binding is a little weak with cracking to the internal hinge. Pages are generally clean although there is heavy foxing to the front and slight foxing towards the rear. Illustrated by William Rainey. pp. vi + 384 + 16. Overall a good copy from this much loved author.
