Twenty Seventh Edition. Handsomely rebound in light brown cloth with the original wrappers bound in. Binding is in a very good clean condition and shows no wear, minor fading to the spine although the gilt titles are still bright. New endpapers. Original front cover slightly darkened and with a little wear.  Pages are generally very clean with the very occasional spot of foxing, especially to the plate. pp. li  + 301 + adverts. Overall a very good copy. Would make an ideal gift.
