There are a few minor indentations to the box however it is in superb condition. During post production of 2001 A Space Odyssey Stanley Kubrick began working on his next project, the dramatic rise and fall of the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. While working on the script Kubrick read every book while consulting with history experts and eventually amassed a database of over 30,000 illustrations and scouting location photos. But as production neared the new bosses of MGM got cold feet and pulled the project.
