First Edition Hardback. A beautiful book with illustrations by Edmund Dulac. Handsomely bound in rich tan cloth with gilt pictorial to the front and gilt titles to the spine. The cloth although in good condition with the gilt still bright is a little discoloured to the front. Internally the binding is tight. The front free endpaper shows a previous owner's bookplate. The rest of the pages are clean throughout despite a little foxing and toning. Illustrated with full-page colour frontispiece complete with it's tissue guard and a further eleven plates throughout. Overall a good copy.
