Hardback. A New Edition With Illustrations. Handsomely bound in cloth with pictorial and titles to the front and spine. The binding is generally in good condition despite a little bumping to the corners. The spine has faded with shelf wear and fraying to the top and base. There is a slight lean to the spine. The binding is a little weak with one or two of the pages loose. The pages are slightly toned although clean throughout. pp. xvi + 492 + 32. Overall a fascinating copy.
