Hardback. A 1936 third impression of this classic story from P. L. Travers. Cream coloured dustjacket with red lettering and small vignette to the front is in good condition although slightly worn with pieces missing, especially to the top of the spine. Underneath lie yellow cloth boards which do show some staining along the top quarter of the cloth. Slight lean to the spine. Internally the binding is tight. The pictorial endpapers have no bookplates or previous owner's inscriptions although very lightly toned along the top edge. The rest of the pages remain clean with no foxing or marks and are beautifully illustrated throughout by Mary Shepard. pp. 206. Overall a lovely book.
