All edges of the text block are gilt and within, the pages are profusely illustrated. Presented in a stylish box with fleur de lys and clover detail to the lid. In overall good condition with light blemishes to the book, the pages are bright and clean with no marks or inscriptions and the box is in very good condition. This book not only describes chocolates' many virtues and varieties but where it came from and how it is made, it also recounts the stories of famous chocolate connoisseurs past and present. There is also a mouth-watering selection of Laduree recipes for chocolate bonbons and other delectable pastries.
