This is the 1st edition of this iconic work by Virginia Woolf, regarded by many as her greatest work. This copy bound the publisher's original brown cloth binding with gilt decoration to the spine. 293 pp. pp. with some foxing to the prelims some rubbing to the top and tail of the spine. The novel delves into the nature of time in personal experience through intricately interwoven stories, focusing on the main character's preparations for and hosting of a party, while also grappling with the challenges posed by a mentally damaged war veteran. Overall a good + copy, with only 2000 copies published.
