This is a 1st edition signed copy by Houdini, with a presentation signed to the front free endpaper reading "To My Friend Sir Ray Lancaster best wishes, Houdini 5/2/1924." It is the last work by Houdini. The book is bound in the original cloth binding with gilt decoration, faded titles, and a small nick to the top of the spine. There is some water staining to the front board, but it does not affect the contents or the signed title on the front free endpaper. The book contains 294 pages, along with a frontispiece of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Houdini at the Auto club in London. It is a rare find to have a copy signed by the most famous of all magicians. This copy delves into the spiritual world, despite Houdini's scepticism of this movement, which included Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
