Scarce. Text in French. Green cloth binding, gilt titles and four raised bands to the spine. Spine faded, boards a little rubbed and worn. Marbled endpapers. Minor foxing but pages otherwise clean. Would be very good except for binding very weak, section of the text block loose, would benefit from binding restoration work. Colour engraved frontispiece. Forty two beautiful colour chromolithographic plates, occasionally original tissue guards present.
