In Latin. Bound in the original pigskin binding. With some ink scribbles and other marks to the covers. Faint title visible to spine. Bumping to corners. Pigskin has split along front edge. Binding fairly tight, though the stitching has stretched. Ink splashes and previous owner's neat inscriptions to front endpaper. Minor browning to first few pages, although they remain legible. Liberally illustrated throughout with full-page anatomical drawings in great detail. Light foxing and browning throughout, though the pages remain legible and clear. Overall, this book is in remarkably good condition, given its age. The illustrations are very well rendered and accurate, and the binding has remained resilient. This is a particularly large book of folio size.
