Fifth enlarged edition with appendix. Hardback half leather binding with gilt tooled title to cloth boards, and gilt tooled title and decorative border to spine. Page edges green. Neat inscription to ffep dated 1920. Numerous illustrations within the text throughtout. Light rubbing to cover and spine with some grubby marks and some scuffing. Shelf wear to edges. Pages a little toned to edges with light spotting to prelims and spotting to edges. Green coloured page edges darkened and worn away in places. Cracking to gutter in some places. Otherwise a bright solid book. Overall very good- condition. 1184 pp. Heavy book may require extra postage.
