Hardback bound in full tan leather with four raised bands to spine, gilt tooled title and bands. Double ruled blind border to boards. New endpapers. Original endpapers retained. Ink inscription to ffep plus owner label. Early manuscript notes and inscriptions to title page. Light toning and soiling to pages throughout, faint remnants of a water stain visible to some pages but minor. Otherwise pages are good. Sunning to spine, scuff marks and scratches to board. Otherwise binding remains smart. Overall very good- condition. v + 570 + v pp. Appears to first have been published in this format in 1616. A collectable early book.
