Second Impression. Original green cloth boards with a little surface wear, gilt pictorial to the front board still bright. Slight fraying and wear to the top and base of the spine. Binding is still fairly tight despite cracking to the internal hinges. Previous owners' label to the front free end-paper. Beautifully illustrated with eight tipped in colour plates by Lionel Edwards. One plate is loose however and three have a small piece missing to the bottom left hand corner. Pages although lightly toned are clean throughout. pp. x + 94. A good reading copy.
