Beeton's Library Erckmann-Chatrian. Original pretty pictorial paper covers in good condition although a little worn with some discolouration to the rear. Spine has a small piece missing to the base. Embossed stamp to the front free end-paper. Pages lightly toned with a little staining to the base of the first few pages. Despite this the pages remain clean throughout. pp. 274 + 21. Overall a good copy of a scarce title. From the library of Major Beeton.
