Beeton's Library Erckmann-Chatrian. Original pretty pictorial paper covers in good condition with the front cover clean despite a little discolouration to the bottom right hand corner. Minor discolouration and a slight chipping to the base of the rear cover. Spine is a little worn with a closed tear along the front outer hinge. Pages lightly toned with a light staining to the base of the first few pages. Despite this the pages remain clean throughout. Slight creasing to pages 17/18. pp. 256+ 6. Overall a good copy of a scarce title. From the library of Major Beeton.
