Hard back, 1908 First Edition. Bound in the original red cloth with pretty gilt pictorial to the front and spine. The binding is in good condition despite a little loss of the cloth to the corners. Gilt to the front board still bright. Spine lightly sunned with minor shelf wear to the top and base. Top edge gilt. Pictorial end-papers with slight cracking to the rear internal hinge. Binding still fairly tight despite this. Neat signature to the verso of the front free end-paper. Pages however are clean throughout and beautifully illustrated by F.D. Bedford. pp. xxx + 310 + 14. Overall a good + copy. Would make an ideal gift.
