Hard back First Edition. Beautifully bound in full green cloth with decorative embossing and gilt titles to the front. In an overall good clean condition and with very little wear. Ornate gilt decoration to the spine with minor shelf wear to the top and base. Binding weak with cracking to the internal hinges. Pages in some places heavily toned with the occasional spot of foxing throughout otherwise generally clean with the text still legible. Illustrated with full page black and white plates and several with-in the text. pp. vii + 552. Overall a good copy.
