Volume 4 of the Lincoln Record Society, bound in cream cloth and edited by R.E.G. Cole, M.A, Canon of Lincoln with detailed introduction. Text is in English and volume includes facsimile of page fifteen of the Speculum. Contains a single blue pencil mark annotation, and enclosed note with pencil inscription. Original spine looks to have been replaced with unidentified and poor condition illustrative spine covering - text block appears to be loose but sound and stable. Heavy discolouration and marking to boards and spine. First and last couple of pages discoloured as well as fore-edge, top edge, and bottom edge. Many pages untrimmed. Overall poor external condition, but contents are clean and bright throughout.
