Third Edition. Beautifully bound in burgundy leather with ornate gilt decoration to the boards and spine. In overall good condition despite a little wear to the corners and spine. Beautiful ornate design in gilt to the edges of the text block (Gauffered Edge). Front free end-paper missing. Pages are generally clean with the occasional spot of foxing especially towards the rear. Blue ribbon within the pages. Beautifully illustrated title page with vignette to the half title page. Each page is bordered with an ornate illustration as well as vignette to the end of each prose. pp. 101. Overall a very good copy. Would make an ideal gift.
