Three Volumes Only. Volume one contains, Notes on the History Of the Life Of King Henry the Second and The Appendix To The First Book. Volume two contains Notes To The Third Book Of The Life Of King Henry the Second, Appendix To The Second Book and Appendix To The Third Book and Index to the Notes and Appendixes To Book II and III. Volume three contains Index To The Third Volume. Notes To The Fourth Book, Appendix To The Fourth Book, Notes To The Fifth Book, Appendix To The Fifth Book, Index To The Notes And Appendixes To Books IV and V. All three volumes bound in full tan leather with raised bands and gilt decoration to the spines. All show some surface wear with cracking down the outer hinges and pieces missing to the spine. Marbled endpapers with The Earl Of Chichester book plate to the front paste downs. Front free endpaper loose to volume one. Internally the pages are a little toned with the occasional foxing throughout otherwise beautifully clean considering the age of the book. Overall a good and informative set of books. This set is heavy and will incur extra shipping charges.
