Beautifully bound in deep red cloth with striking pictorial to the front and spine. In overall good condition despite a little bumping to the corners, colours bright and vivid particularly of the cloth and gilt. Minor fading to the spine with light shelf wear to the top and base. Pages although a little toned are clean throughout with just the occasional spot of foxing, heavy foxing to the half title page. Illustrated with eight full page monochrome plates by Gordon Browne. pp. vi + 352 + 16. Overall a very good copy.
