Thirty Ninth Authentic Edition With All The Original Pictures And Verses. Beautifully bound in full green cloth with bevelled edges in good condition despite a child's feint scribble and mark to the front. Simple black line drawings and decoration to the borders with beautifully decorated gilt titles to the centre. Spine again has beautifully decorated titles in gilt to the spine, lightly faded but clean with the titles still visible. Slight shelf wear to the top and base. Decorated endpapers. Binding a little weak. Pages toned with the very occasional thumb mark otherwise clean throughout. Unpaginated. Overall a very good copy.
