An exposition of the religious dogmas and customs of the Ancient Egyptians. An early edition bound in dark blue cloth. Beautiful gilt titles and illustrations on the spine and blind stamping on the front and back covers. Front board and spine detached from the contents. Pages are clean, undamaged and without foxing, although naturally tanned, throughout, with numerous illustrative woodcuts. Advert to the front endpapers. Bumped corners and the cloth is slightly pulling away from the top and bottom of the spine. Overall, a good copy of an important work on freemasonry. pp. 366.
