First Edition Hard Back. Bound in the publishers' original cloth in good condition despite a little fading with wonderfully illustrated front board. Titles in blue with two small vignettes to the spine slightly toned with light shelf wear to the top and base. Illustrated front and rear endpapers with ex-libris label to the verso of the front free endpaper. There is slight foxing throughout although the text is still legible and doesn't affect any of the plates except a few of the tissue guards. Minor pencil notation to the "List Of Illustrations Page". Beautifully illustrated by Arthur Rackham with thirteen full page colour plates and numerous line drawings throughout. pp. xi + 160. Overall a lovely copy. Some of the nursery rhymes included are Jack Ad Jill, Hey! diddle diddle, Old Mother Goose, Little Bo Peep and many more.
