First Edition Hard Back. Simply and elegantly bound in dark red cloth with gilt emblem to the front and gilt titles to the spine. The front and rear boards are in a very good clean condition with just minor bumping to the corners. Spine however has faded with slight discolouration marks. Embossed stamping  to the title and preface page. Slight pencil notation to the rear. Pages are generally very clean with just the very occasional spot of foxing. pp. x + 427 + 8. Overall a very good copy.
