Ref. 115409   Edition. First Edition

Published By: B.T. Batsford Ltd 1963 (London)

First Edition. Ex-library copy marked 'East Suffolk County Library' to title page. Full-colour frontispiece of Salisbury Cathedral is followed by many, many images of architecture around England, with full colour and black and white images alike. 'This is the most comprehensive and detailed History of English Architecture ever to have been published.' Original dust cover is affixed to book and is a little discoloured. Spine features minor damage where previous label has been torn away; however no real damage to outer. Textblock edges are a little discoloured but no internal faults. This is a thick, heavy book and thus may incur extra postal charges. Overall, an excellent copy for those looking for an exhaustive description and record of English architecture.
