First Edition Hard Back. Original green cloth boards in very good condition despite minor bumping to the top and base of the spine. Dust jacket with illustrated front cover is worn with pieces missing to the extremities. Binding tight. Slight foxing to the top and fore edge of the text block. Previous owners' inscription in green to the front paste down and to the top of chapter one. There is the occasional thumb mark otherwise the pages are very clean throughout, illustrated with black and white photographic plates. pp. 192. Overall a good copy.
