First Edition Hard Back. Illustrated dust jacket in good condition with the front cover clean and bright. Slight chipping and wear to the extremities with a little surface wear to the spine. Original green cloth boards in excellent condition with bright titles in silver to the spine. Binding tight. Slight foxing to the top and fore edge of the text block. Previous owners' inscription in green to the front paste down and to the top of chapter one. There is the occasional spot of foxing throughout especially to the prelims otherwise a good clean copy. Illustrated with black and white photographic plates. pp. 208. Overall a good copy.
