Published in the same format as the first edition with John Tenniel's beautiful illustrations throughout. Both volumes with the original red cloth boards with gilt ruled borders and small gilt pictorial to the centre. The cloth is generally bright and clean despite minor discolouration and a little bumping to the corners. There is a little fading to the base of the spine on Alice's Adventures although there is no wear and the gilt titles are crisp. All edges of the text block gilt and free of any discolouration. Pages lightly toned with the occasional thumb mark otherwise very clean throughout. Alice's Adventures In Wonderland pp. 199. Through The Looking Glass And What Alice Found There pp. xiii + 231. A superb addition to any library.
